A lot of this chapter is new material, so I will be laying pipe, pruning old branches, and revising all at the same time. The next scenes I have to pull entirely out of the ether, but I'm ready to do it.

Hope you are all having lots of creativity!

I'm sort of edging into the same boat with my ni90. It seems like I've got about 20-25 days left on it, as the climax is coming up much faster than I thought it would.

I hope your chapter goes very well! Are you working from an outline?

I'm working from an outline and an old draft simultaneously, although some things, like the very next things I'm working on, will have to be drafted anew.

I'm sure it will go well, and good luck. And hopefully it merges with the outline/draft somewhere down the line? I always think it's nice to have a net that those things give you.

Me too. What do you usually do?

I stare with terrible longing and want at the idea of wonderful outlines that if only I could write...Then I just, I don't know, do the stupid thing and let the fingers go. I actually have no involvement. The muses have ganged up and left me out, though I have tried to show them the wisdom, the necessity, dammit! of an outline, they just pooh-pooh the notion. I'd fire them, but they've formed a union.

I think they really are the way to go, though. I'm thinking that once I get this one done, I'll go back through and see about outlining from this draft --plan to be in your shoes in a few months, really. :)
