Dusty Pup; Herc-o-meter
Nov. 7th, 2008 04:09 pmI lost last night to dust. Your curtains may look clean, but dust is the enemy. I cleaned 4 windows and sills, and washed 4 treatments and blinds looking like a surgeon, wearing my mask. I swiffered the floor too, and it shines now! However, the dust got me. In my secret identity as Allergy Woman, I’ve spent most of the day feeling crummy and sniffing.

Two writing signs for the future:
I’ve got me a hankering to do something for a decidedly older crowd, which would be Mark Twain’s Daughter
I’m also starting to find certain ways that music reminds me of my next project, so that’s a sign that it’s the right one. That would be a slice of the Iowa Faerie Project, a piece of Gossamer and Veridian which I haven’t written down anywhere yet, from somewhere in the middle. I’ve also started talking through those scenes in the car, so I’m guessing that will be the next project now. That’s the possession stage.
