Edited SNSM up to the rewrite bit, as predicted. Now must do deep, meaningful, stylistic rewrite.

Which is kind of intimidating, because the rest of the story is sturdy right now, and the first draft of the rewrite is thin. *insert angst here*

Gone for next 3 days to Minneapolis for author education/professor educating. Me n Baba Yaga will see you on the flip side of that.

Flying to Faerie Con in Philadelphia for a variety of reasons, the most writerly of which are to attend panels and meet people.

I will be working on the story in my spare moments, such as today, if I can avoid too much airline drama.

Wonder if I will meet any of you there?

See you on the other side.

Bryon has read and given chapter 3 the content thumbs up. Chapter 4 is well underway. I hope to be done with it by the end of the week.

Here's a piece of it. It is another Errol piece. Next time, I will try to give you a Stephan piece.

Went to Convergence this weekend and in addition to playing and having a good time with friends, also worked on writer edumatation. Learned that YA Fantasy and Paranormal Romance are hot, and learned a lot about who's doing what kinds of writing. Know your area, oh writer. Approach it cleverly. Know who's doing what, and how you compare, not superficially, to your peers, rather than your idols.

Onward. A few things left to do today.

Tonight's sleepless excursion into the publishing industry has taught us:

1. Writer's Digest is king! Here! Look at all this work they saved you!

2. Agent Query is king too! Co-kings!

3. The favorite color of literary agency website backgrounds is red. Yes, red. I don't know what this is about. If I am lucky enough to get an agent with a red site, perhaps I will find out.
