Cross Posting Woes; Drops o' Blood
Oct. 28th, 2008 10:00 amStill having trouble getting my automatic link in from Writer Tamago. We're working on that. I blame Live Journal and the zombies...
So, if you want to read what's going on in my universe today, link here.

The important news is that if you go here
http://www.dropsofcrimson.com/
and click on the current issue, you can see an interview with Ilona Andrews, a short story from Karen Mahoney, and a humble offering from myself.
Okay, it's a vampire killing junior high free for all! With fries!
Well, it would have been. If Abby had had her way...

Date: 2008-10-29 03:46 pm (UTC)Speaking of monster-related gaming fics, I got a reply about the vampire story I sent to Drops of Crimson. They said it was "almost there" and would like me to resubmit it once I've worked on the rough bits some more. Which is both encouraging and daunting; encouraging because the seem to have liked it, and daunting because I've reworked that sucker several times already, both as a short story and as a comic book script, and my inner slacker rebels at doing it again.
On the other hand, I see this response as saying: "Are you a real writer, or just a dilettante? Because if you aren't serious about this, we have no time for you."
Hitherto I've been a dilettante writer. Time to get working.
