Date: 2007-10-16 03:13 am (UTC)As far as more socially acceptable pastimes, I like to watch movies and visit museums and historic places. I love musical theatre, although I can rarely afford to see shows. I've also been known to get obsessed with learning to do various things -- I taught myself to juggle and touch-type as a teenager, and when I decided to teach TC to read, I spent endless hours teaching myself how to teach reading first.

Just kidding.
Um, lessee, I'm learning how to knit which I think is big fun (yes, I AM 10). For fun, I'm pretty time limited these days, but I like being out on the river with the hubby, or farting around on the 'net and talking to friends, or watching episodes of LOST or some other TV show. Most of the time, it's any activity that allows me to rest my brain these days. After listening to doctors go on and on all day with words that are 24 letters long...I needs me some down time for the brain pan.
Now, if I could get my sewing machine in operating order again, I could say that I enjoy teaching myself little things on sewing. I made a couple sets of curtains from bedsheets and...
*headdesk*
I should really get out more often. I'm gonna stop rambling now.
