Portus YA Author Reading Series

We have the names. As soon as I get some details from the convention heads about scheduling, I’ll be sending the letters out, and we’ll be getting people set up to come to Dallas and read.

Overall, we have six writers reading at Portus. I saw the new release from one of them at Barnes and Noble last night, so that was exciting. As soon as I’ve got the schedule confirmed, I’ll post the schedule here. That should be before I head out to Japan on June 13th.

Meanwhile, if you’re not doing anything on July 10-13, and you want to go to a Harry Potter convention in Dallas, talk to me. I’ll get you fixed up.

So here I am, talking to you.
I had originally planned to volunteer, but realized that with my current new job search tacked on with how my current manager likes to play fast and loose with our scheduling, it might not be such a good idea. To think I took this job to have a more flexible schedule for going back to school. (But that is a grump for another day)

I'd certainly appreciate anything you could do!

You can certainly still register to go, even at the door. We have one day passes, which might be ideal with your work situation. They are substantially less than the full registration.
