I have purchased Scrivener for use on the Mac Air. Once I am through the rough draft, I will use it to revise HH:PW and let you know what I think. I found it irresistible as I ran through the demo last weekend.

Yesterday’s trivia was correctly answered by Frankie: King Augeas of Ellis was our man.

Now, to change gears. Cerberus had three heads. What was his tail like?

And Herculean wisdom: Most of the gods who wanted to get even weren’t bad. They were like many of the people in stories. Someone had to be the bad guy. Someone had to be maligned. Even if the real perpetraitor of terrible events turned out to be a much worse scoundrel that the stories decided they would glorify.

Life isn’t fair, Hera. Life just isn’t fair.

What sort of features does it have that sold you on it?

Scrivener allows you to write out of order and compile your manuscript. It has cork board and outlining features. You can also save old versions of your manuscript, and you can integrate your research photos and text right into your document file. It does everything on computer.

I think it's gonna be great.

That sounds really awesome. I'm on Windows now, just got Vista earlier this year, so I'm not going to be able to change anytime soon, but I have been very curious about the Mac programs. So far, I've really liked the Vista version of Word, because it has more capabilities than the older version, but I've had 2 big problems with it:
1. Yahoo doesn't accept its formating, so if I paste text into an email, it loses all of the paragraph indents.
2. Most of the computers at work (where my boss is wonderful enough to let me hog the printer) have a lot of trouble reading it if I send it as an attachment, since they're on the older programs. Sure, I can open it with internet explorer, but that only works with some of the computers, and the patch to fix it changes the page count, so editing gets annoying.

Have you noticed anything similiar with Scrivener? Are you able to open your work with different programs?

I will start using Scrivener for the Hercules revision, and then I'll give out some full reports. There may be some other authors reading, however, who already have some idea, and I hope they will feel free to answer.
